Before discovering her talent for clay Deborah was an international fashion designer. She began her pottery journey in 2017 and places value on buying less but buying well. Her work is made from new zealand clay, hand blended with new zealand volcanic sand which creates a lovely random speckle when melted at high temperature. she works out of her home studio in days bay,  wellington,  new zealand
